NPA Certified

Facilitator Development Programme
presence

Develop the being and skills of a facilitator who creates conditions for genuine transformation.

The competencies of an NPA
facilitator

01
Coaching Mindset
Ask rather than tell. Trust the process. Create conditions for insight rather than delivering information.
02
Presence and Emotional Maturity
Bring steadiness, groundedness, and emotional maturity to any group experience.
03
Wisdom, Design and Flexibility
Structure learning for impact and adapt in real-time to what is happening in the room.
04
Trust and Connection
Build psychological safety and relational trust so participants can engage at depth.
05
Head–Heart–Hands Integration
Move people through cognitive awareness, emotional shift, and practical application.

Coaching is not enough on
its own

If you're a practising coach with a calling to lead groups, the move from one-to-one coaching to group facilitation requires a different set of skills — and a deeper kind of presence.

The NPA Facilitator Development Programme is designed for coaches and professionals who want to deliver NPA programmes or develop their facilitation craft to a higher standard.

This is not a generic train-the-trainer course. It is a character-forming, competency-building experience that prepares you to hold a room well — safely, relationally, and with a coaching mindset.

Competency-based, not
perfection-based

The Core Question

  • Coaching Mindset
  • Presence and Emotional Maturity
  • Wisdom, Design and Flexibility
  • Trust and Connection
  • Modelling Coaching
  • Head–Heart–Hands Integration
Two Assessment Levels

Assessment level is matched to delivery responsibility — a pathway, not a barrier.

  • Level A: Full CPC/RC programme delivery
  • Level B: Leader as Coach delivery and CPC co-facilitation
  • Level C: Support Faculty development role

A two-day immersive
experience

The FDP is delivered over two intensive days, combining experiential learning, live demonstrations, and structured reflection.
Day 1
The Being and Presence of a Facilitator
A heart-centred exploration of what it means to be a facilitator — your presence, your impact on the room, and the inner work required to hold groups well.
Day 2
The Craft and Skills of Facilitation
Applied facilitation practice — leading learning sessions, debriefing, giving feedback, and building the practical competency to deliver NPA programmes.
Post-FDP
Recorded Demonstrations
Submit three recorded facilitation demonstrations for assessment. Receive detailed, feedback-model-based feedback from NPA assessors.
On Approval
Certified to Facilitate
Upon approval, you are certified to facilitate NPA programmes at the agreed level — with ongoing support from the NPA faculty community.
